Hi family, I have a feeling that this letter is going to be a little
scattered, so I apologize in advance....
Well, where to I begin...?.....NOT in Urrunaga! Haha. So, wednesday my
companion and I were tromping through the mud in our gumboots, ( it
had rained recently and the rain really does some damage to the roads)
coming back from a lesson at about 10:30 in the morning when our
pensionista flags us down and told us that we got a call from our Zone
Leaders. So, we called them back and they tell us that I have 2 hours
to pack and be at the place where we have transfers.....yup. It was a
little unexpected haha. So we get back to our apt. I pack. and we had
recently given our clothes to the Sister who does our laundry, so my
clothes were all wet, she air dried them as best as possible and threw
em in a bag. Said a few difficult goodbyes and headed off to my new
area. And here I am, in San Pedro de Lloc. with my new companion elder
Davila, who is awesome. He was in my zone before and is a great
missionary. He has about 23 months and so this is his last
transfer/area/companion and all so we are gonna work hard to end his
mission right. The thing is though, they had two sister missionaries
here in San Pedro, so 1-we didnt have anybody to show us the area,
investigators, members, so we{re pretty much starting from scratch
haha. and 2- we have to compete with sister missionaries haha. we´ve
heard a lot of óh...the sisters are gone!? how sad¨ .lol. But its
great, it started off a little slow, but now we know a abunch of
members and are working with them to help us get on our feet. The area
is really neat. Green, which is awesome, real different from chiclayo.
We have San Pedro and then a few little towns outside of it. So we
will see! Yeah it was hard to say goodbye to urrunaga, but maybe it
was better to leave quickly without tons of goodbyes, and its time to
turn another chapter anyways, new people to meet, new things to learn,
part of the mission right? :)
I love you guys, I hope you are all doing well! Happy conference!
